Best time to visit Cracow in 2016
My favourite time in Cracow is just about to start. Each day city centre is blooming with greener trees and colourful flours. Air quality is getting better after wintery, smoggy period.
Streets reverberate with the street musicians playing different instruments. People are becoming more cheerful and energetic. They crowd the city centre and Vistula embankment if only there is a slight touch of sunshine over the city walls.
May and June are warm and pleasant. Recently even in April temperatures can reach above 20 Celsius. July and August can be hot and dry. Autumn comes early and gloomingly stretches over late September and October with golden picturesque views of hills around Cracow.
This July however, Cracow will be overcrowded. There is World Catholic Youth Days event with two million people expected to come for the celebration. Hence, if you do not feel like religious pilgrims, do not book your stay between 15th July and 07th August.
